The Jesus Vote
This book is a fast and easy read. Like most good books, the characters are interesting, complex, and easily identifiable with people in my own life. There are also beliefs, values, and family dynamics that come off very real. The topics covered in this book are not easy to discuss and can invoke strong emotions. The author does a wonderful job of portraying different viewpoints on the topics covered and letting the reader draw their own conclusions. By the way, my mother as read this book and really enjoyed. 🙂
The Poker Player and the Preacher
This book is a well written. An inspiring story of 2 men which is a nice change . Seeing things from a man point of view.Reminding us that you never know what kind of a mark you can leave on others lives. How sometimes it take years of going through life on the rough road until you open your eyes and realize what truly matters and that our Father is in control. Gods timing . God’s Love.friendship,family. Very relatable and enjoyable read with larger than life characters you feel like you know by the end of the story. Everyone should read this it’s a wonderful story. I am very glad I did!
